Before graduating in 2024 as an RMT in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Kelsey spent more than a decade working within BC’s interior Ski industry as an on mountain photographer and a snowmobile tour guide. She has worked with Canoe Kayak Canada and various professional Halifax sports teams, which helped define her approach to massage therapy, uniquely tailoring her practice to promote healing and restore optimal function for her patients.
Her journey into the world of massage therapy has been fuelled by her own firsthand experiences with injuries sustained while participating in high intensity sports. From a young age, Kelsey was always interested in athletics, from playing rugby to spending the last two decades snowboarding. She focuses her practice as a sports massage therapist, with a major interest in concussion treatment, Myofascial release and Craniosacral Therapy. With a passion for adrenaline sports, including competitive downhill speed boarding and advanced level snowboarding, she has a deepened understanding of her clients therapeutic needs, particularly those recovering from sports-related injuries.
Her empathetic and knowledgeable approach to massage therapy provides a distinct qualification to assisting clients through recovery and wellness. When Kelsey is outside of the clinic, she enjoys an active and adventurous lifestyle. You can find her exploring in the mountains, foraging for mushrooms, hunting for stones and crystals, travelling, or snowboarding in the colder months.
Kelsey is currently awaiting registration as an RMT with the CCHP of British Columbia. Book in with Kelsey for “wellness massage” but still gain the benefit of her training and experience as an RMT!
