Kristina Adams

Registered Acupuncturist

Kristina graduated from Pacific Rim College in April 2017 and became a Registered Acupuncturist with the CTCMA of British Columbia shortly after. Her interest in alternative health care began at a young age when she experienced various health issues that western medicine didn't have the answers to.

She studied Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at The Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in Nelson, BC, and later at Pacific Rim College in Victoria. Here she learned directly from Doctors of Chinese Medicine, studying gynaecology, dermatology, internal medicine, paediatrics, tuina massage, and advanced orthopaedic acupuncture.

After graduating from Pacific Rim, Kristina travelled to Japan where she had the amazing opportunity to train in Shiatsu massage, enjoy plenty of powder skiing, and immerse herself in Japanese culture and customs. From Japan she moved to Australia, where she mentored for one year at a fertility acupuncture clinic on the Gold Coast.

Traditional Chinese Medicine and holistic healthcare has truly grown into a passion for her. She is continually learning, growing, and finding ways to better assist people on their healing journeys. She is currently studying to become a registered herbalist and is very happy to be serving the community of Kamloops.

Ryan Churchill

Registered Massage Therapist

Ryan graduated with honours in 2024 from the Southern Alberta Institute of Massage and is a compassionate, client-focused Registered Massage Therapist. Originally from the East Kootenays, he developed a strong appreciation for Kamloops through its active lifestyle, hiking trails, and welcoming community.

Before becoming an RMT, Ryan spent 15 years working in the trades and understands firsthand how physically demanding work can affect the body. He also recognizes that long hours working at a desk, repetitive postures, and daily stress can contribute to tension, pain, fatigue, and reduced mobility. Combined with his background in strength sports, including strongman and professional arm wrestling, he brings practical insight into injury recovery, movement, and physical performance.

Ryan’s approach is centered around trust, safety, and recovery. Using his education and understanding of human biomechanics, he tailors each treatment to the individual needs of the client and uses firm, effective pressure when needed to help reduce tension and support recovery. Whether clients are recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, improving athletic recovery, or simply looking to reduce stress, his goal is to help them move better and return to their daily activities with greater comfort and confidence.
